Unique in approach
CBSI only works with leadership teams.  Every bible study group has a Large Group  Leader, one or more Discussion Group Leaders and a Coordinator who takes care of all the practical things.  There is a clear job description for each role and the training which we give before you can start with CBSI materials, will help you with this.  Because the tasks for leading a group are divided among different people, the group will last longer and function better.

Support
Every Bible study group will receive a coach who prays for you regularly and will call you off and on.  In this way, you don't get the feeling you are alone.  You belong to a larger whole.  There are more than 50 such Bible study groups in the Netherlands.  Some of these groups have done CBSI for more than 10 years.  The coaches have several years of experiences and can help you with problems that come up

Conferences
CBSI Netherlands organizes conferences to encourage its leaders.  Every first weekend of october there is an overnight retreat for leadership teams.  Additionally, each first saturday of february there is a conference day for everyone.

International
CBSI is a worldwide organization.  It's motto is "Everyone in the world in the Word".  This means that CBSI is available in more than 45 languages and present in more than 75 countries.  Therefore the Dutch Chinese, for example,  can do CSBI in Chinese and French people can get a study book in French.  English speakers who are living in the Netherlands can be a part of a Bible study group using English materials.

The Bible and only the Bible
The Bible is studied systematically, verse by verse.  The answers to the questions are to be found in the Bible.  This makes the CBSI studies easy to do for anyone, no matter the spiritual background.
